Author Evening with Kath Crew

FoSCL are delighted to welcome author Kath Crew to talk about her novels: A Cactus Called Ironside and A Feather Between the Lines.

Kath Crew has been telling stories since she could first talk and writing them down since someone showed her how to use a pencil. Her active imagination has occasionally landed her in trouble over the years. She was President of Cambridge Footlights in the 1980s and wrote for and performed in revues whilst at University. As a teacher she wrote for her students and she has been a contributor to various publications.

Now she is free of children - her own and those belonging to other people - she is enjoying writing at length for a larger audience. She likes to write humorous and entertaining, character-led stories, but hopes to encourage thoughtful debate whilst not being entirely flippant.
